Despite loss, a dream come true for Jamie Loeb
Posted Sep 2, 2015
With Yankees legend Derek Jeter and many of Jamie Loeb's family and friends cheering her on, No. 5 seed Caroline Wozniacki dispatched Loeb, 6-2, 6-0 in 67 minutes under the midday New York heat on the Arthur Ashe Stadium Court. "It obviously wasn't the result I wanted, but I definitely enjoyed myself and I know that I can compete at this level," said Loeb.
