A mystery that has baffled observers since last spring will finally start to unravel Thursday in Charlotte. Since UNC made one of the most high-profile hirings of the offseason by landing former Auburn coach Gene Chizik as its defensive coordinator, fans and media have been searching for clues about what impact he'll have on what was one of the worst units in college football last season.
