Folt: UNC Creates New History Task Force

In the wake of the controversy over renaming Saunders Hall, UNC Chancellor Carol Folt has created a task force dedicated to “curating and teaching a full and accurate history of UNC-Chapel Hill.” It’s called the Task Force on UNC-Chapel Hill History – managed by historian Cecelia Moore and co-chaired by Vice Chancellor Winston Crisp, American Indian Center director Amy Locklear Hertel, and history professor James Leloudis.
