Roy Williams To Take Overseas Recruiting Trip

For the first time in his UNC tenure, Roy Williams's recruiting travel itinerary this fall will include Europe. The Tar Heel head coach is scheduled to meet with Lauri Markkanen at the Helsinki Basketball Academy in Finland on Sept. 28, according to HBA coach Hanno Möttölä. Markkanen, a 6-10 forward, is considered one of the top international prospects in his age group, according to multiple scouts.
