Former Tar Heel P.J. Clyburn returns to football at Winston-Salem State


’s football career was over. His right shoulder was injured while at North Carolina and he was content to be just a student. It was during the 2012 season for the Tar Heels when Clyburn, now a safety at Winston-Salem State, suffered the injury. He stayed in school and UNC continued to pay for his education. But then something happened. “I wanted to play again,” Clyburn said. (Winston-Salem Journal)
