Illinois eager to be tested at North Carolina after 'fairly easy' start

Coach Bill Cubit is the first to concede Illinois hasn't encountered much difficulty since the season began. "It has not been easy to accomplish (a 2-0 start)," Cubit said Monday, "but it's been fairly easy because nothing has really gone against us." The season takes on a more serious tone Saturday, when Illinois visits North Carolina for its first road game and first game against a Power Five conference opponent.
