M.J. Stewart stood out among his fellow defensive backs in Saturday’s win over Illinois, earning defensive player of the game honors from the coaching staff. “When we go in and talk on Sunday about who were the guys that really well played in the game, this is three weeks in a row now for M.J.,” UNC head coach Larry Fedora said during his live radio show on Tuesday night.
