Tar Heels Move Up To No. 1 In Inside Lacrosse Poll

The University of North Carolina women's lacrosse team has moved up to No. 1 in the Inside Lacrosse media poll this week, the magazine announced on Tuesday. The Tar Heels took over the top spot after beating Northwestern, 9-8 in double overtime, last Saturday in Chapel Hill. The Wildcats are the two-time defending NCAA champions and were ranked No. 1 in the media poll last week.
