After weeks of being pilloried for innings limits and his pitching workload down the stretch as the Mets chased a postseason birth, Matt Harvey walked into Terry Collins' office here at the Great American Ballpark and made a statement. Saturday, he would pitch as scheduled and he would throw 100 pitches. It was a step away from the conservative plan the Mets and the pitcher had set for him. (NJ.com)
