Danny Manning ready to go for second year at Wake Forest

Coach Danny Manning of Wake Forest is itching to formally begin preseason basketball practice Monday, especially now that he no longer has to start from scratch. “You’re always excited about starting the season,’’ Manning said. “The guys have had a good summer and conditioning has gone very well thus far, and I’m looking forward to getting on the court.’’ (Winston-Salem Journal)
