Saturday’s results create new ‘reality’ for UNC, NC State

When the dreary wet day began, N.C. State was generally considered the up-and-coming team, with a realistic shot at stealing the Atlantic Division away from perennial frontrunners Clemson and Florida State. North Carolina, by contrast, was a program teetering on the brink. By the time the sun went down, the script had completely flipped and the roles essentially reversed.
