How ESPN plans to deal with college football games running longer

Why are games getting longer? Well, plenty of smarter college football voices than me have written about this topic. There’s the proliferation of spread offenses—meaning more plays and more clock stoppages and more breaks between scores. There’s also the in-game commercial inventory that has inched up in newer rights deals to help justify the price. What’s a rights holder’s responsibility here?
