Wake Forest’s first six games have shown, if nothing else, that the Deacons are headed toward a quarterback controversy. Coach Dave Clawson said he’s looking forward to it. Clawson doesn’t necessarily relish the idea of his fan base splitting into camps, one backing sophomore John Wolford for the starting job and others lining up behind freshman Kendall Hinton.
