Karen Shelton records 600th win for UNC Field Hockey in 5-1 victory

The third-ranked North Carolina field hockey team got goals from five different players en route to a 5-1 win at VCU Sunday afternoon. UNC improved to 13-1 on the season with the win, while VCU fell to 4-10. The win was the 600th for UNC’s Karen Shelton, who is in her 35th season as the Tar Heels’ head coach and now has a career record of 600-151-9, all at UNC.
