QB Chazz Surratt making assault on N.C. record books

Friday night, in a 48-24 win over Newton-Conover, East Lincoln quarterback Chazz Surratt broke the Lincoln County career rushing record. Yes, you read that right. East Lincoln’s quarterback broke the Lincoln County rushing record. Surratt, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound senior, has committed to play college football at North Carolina. For his career, Surratt has 563 carries for 4,347 yards and 73 touchdowns.
