UVa receiver Thorpe set for homecoming

T.J. Thorpe’s expression never changed Monday when he said he thought Virginia was playing North Carolina State this year and not the University of North Carolina. “He’s lying,” said Virginia quarterback Matt Johns during a later interview. “There’s no way he didn’t know that. That’s just T.J. being T.J.” After four years at North Carolina, Thorpe should have known — and probably did know — that UVa and UNC play every year as fellow members of the ACC’s Coastal Division.
