UNC picking up steam in state football recruiting
Posted Oct 27, 2015
The commitment from DT Marlon Dunlap (West Charlotte) follows that of in-state LB Jonathan Smith (Scotland) and RB Jordon Brown (Southern Durham), both of whom pledged to UNC in August. The Tar Heels also landed TE Garrett Walston (New Hanover) after he switched his commitment from Georgia to UNC. Along with East Lincoln QB Chazz Surratt, the Tar Heels now have five in-state players in their 2016 class.
