There will be plenty of debate over where exactly Thursday night's 26-19 win at Pittsburgh ranks among significant Carolina football victories. Let's put it this way: the No. 23 Panthers are the highest-ranked team the Tar Heels have defeated on the road since a 2001 win at No. 13 Clemson. And Carolina is now 4-0 in the ACC for only the second time since 1981 (the other time was 1997).
