Meeks’ weight is down, but expectations way up
Posted Oct 30, 2015
Much of the weight is off, and the wait might be over for UNC’s Kennedy Meeks to take his game to an even higher level. Meeks, a 6–10 junior from Charlotte, stepped onto UNC’s campus as a 320–pound freshman. Although he was down to 270 by the end of last season, fatigue limited his explosiveness going to the basket. He welcomes the weight of expectations for him and the Tar Heels.
