Tar Heels emerge as legitimate contenders

Rising to the occasion hasn't been a staple of UNC football in recent years, but Thursday night the 2015 version of the Tar Heels showed they're capable of that and much more. A 26-19 victory against No. 23 Pittsburgh on its home field solidified UNC as a legitimate contender for the ACC's Coastal Division. The Tar Heels improved to 4-0 in league play to claim the Coastal lead for at least 48 hours. (Fayetteville Observer)
