UNC honors two title anniversaries

The loudest applause from the capacity crowd Saturday in the Dean Smith Center wasn't for the current crop of Tar Heels. Yes, North Carolina gave fans plenty to cheer about in a 37-point waxing of Wake Forest. But this day was about the past as the basketball program honored the 50th anniversary of the 1957 national championship squad and the 25th anniversary of the 1982 title team. (Rocky Mount Telegram)
