Downtown Rosemary Street's future in flux

When Rosemary Street was first established, it gained its name from the names of two of its residents — Rose and Mary, who lived on opposite ends of the street. Since then, Rosemary Street has served as the home for many Chapel Hill staples like Breadmen’s, Mama Dip’s Kitchen and La Residence, all built in the 1970s....Now, many new developments are underway, and plans are in place to further change the downtown area.
