A Tar Heel moment for the ages

At the end of a long blue line of North Carolina basketball royalty Saturday afternoon, Dean Smith was about to be introduced. Just before the former coach's name was called, Michael Jordan pulled Smith close and briefly kissed him on the head. It was a sweet gesture, the sort of thing a parent does to a well-loved child just before something big happens. (Charlotte Observer)
