NC State running back Matthew Dayes' foot injury will cost him the rest of his junior season, head coach Dave Doeren said Thursday. Dayes was hurt during the first half of Saturday's 56-41 loss to Clemson. He will undergo surgery on Friday. Through eight games, Dayes was leading the Wolfpack in rushing yards (865), yards per game (108), touchdowns (12) and points scored (72).
