MLS Playoffs Full Of Tar Heels

Several North Carolina men’s soccer alums advanced to the semifinals of the MLS Playoffs on Sunday. Captained by former Tar Heel standout Dax McCarty, the New York Red Bulls moved to the Eastern Conference Championship with a 1-0 result Sunday, and 2-0 on aggregate, over D.C. United, sending their oldest rivals home for a second consecutive postseason. (GoHeels.com)
