Thursday night, former Navy SEAL Clint Bruce, who played football at Navy and went on to play in the NFL before doing multiple tours overseas in the war on terror, spoke to the Tar Heels. “It was great to hear about family and leadership and commitment to a team from people who live it every day,” Kennedy Meeks said. “He talked about being elite, and that’s what our team wants to do this year.”
