Former UNC players King Rice, Tony Shaver coach their teams to upsets on opening night

Monmouth, led by head coach King Rice, defeated UCLA 84-81 in Pauley Pavilion on Friday night. William & Mary, coached by Tony Shaver, rolled past NC State 85-68 in Raleigh. William & Mary's coaching staff also includes former UNC player Jonathan Holmes.
