Carter, Kay Crowned Doubles National Champs

North Carolina’s Hayley Carter and Whitney Kay won the doubles title on Sunday at the National Indoor Intercollegiate Championship at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Seeded fourth, Carter and Kay were forced to win in come back fashion on Sunday against Kentucky’s Mami Adachi and Aldila Sutjiadi, the third-seeded tandem in the field.
