Britt brings outside touch to bolster Tar Heels

Nate Britt is more than willing to take up the slack in top-ranked North Carolina’s backcourt. “I have a lot of confidence in myself,” Britt said. “I get a lot of confidence from my teammates and the coaching staff.” Britt scored 11 of his 17 points in the second half as UNC pulled away from Fairfield, winning 92-65 its home opener Sunday at the Smith Center.
