Giants re-sign WR Hakeem Nicks

Former New York Giants first-round pick Hakeem Nicks is re-signing with the team to take the roster spot vacated by wide receiver Victor Cruz, sources confirmed to ESPN on Tuesday. As Cruz goes on injured reserve with a calf injury, the Giants are bringing back his old friend and mentor. (ESPN.com)
