Damien Washington had planned this for months. This was his last game at Kenan Stadium, and he wanted to make it special. He’d been dating his girlfriend, Chemaria Beatty, for more than a year, and while they’d talked about marriage, he knew she wouldn’t be expecting him to pop the question so soon.
