Texans quarterback T.J. Yates making final preparations to start Sunday

Texans backup quarterback is in the middle of his final preparations for his first start since an AFC divisional-round playoff loss five years ago against the Baltimore Ravens. Yates has been able to run the first-team offense in practice all week, taking all of the snaps with the knowledge that starter Brian Hoyer wouldn’t be able to play due to a concussion that involved memory loss.
