Texans quarterback T.J. Yates making final preparations to start Sunday

Texans backup quarterback T.J. Yates is in the middle of his final preparations for his first start since an AFC divisional-round playoff loss five years ago against the Baltimore Ravens. Yates has been able to run the first-team offense in practice all week, taking all of the snaps with the knowledge that starter Brian Hoyer wouldn’t be able to play due to a concussion that involved memory loss.
