Tar Heels win in overtime, clinch spot in ACC title game

UNC’s Quinshad Davis caught a 5-yard pass from Marquise Williams in overtime as the No. 12 Tar Heels defeated Virginia Tech 30-27 on Saturday at Lane Stadium to reserve a spot in the ACC championship game. The Tar Heels will meet top-ranked Clemson on Dec. 5 at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium after next weekend’s regular-season finale at NC State.
