Credit Larry Fedora and his staff for surviving. His three previous UNC teams probably would not have been up to closing out such a tense, important game. The trip to N.C. State on Saturday will be the game of the year (so far) for both sides and as much as UNC needs to win to keep its wildest dreams flickering, the outcome at Virginia Tech should ease some of the pressure.
