This time last football season, N.C. State was extolling the virtues of its blue-collar team after a blue-collar 35-7 shellacking of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. When asked on Monday whether those comments rankled him, head coach Larry Fedora of No. 11 UNC responded with five seconds of silence. “I don’t know how to answer that,” Fedora said after the pause.
