Quinton Coples tweets goodbye to Jets fans after getting cut
Posted Nov 24, 2015
Quinton Coples was waived Monday by the Jets. The move seemed inevitable, even if the midseason timing was a surprise. Head coach Todd Bowles said Coples, a 2012 first-round draft pick, lacked the speed to play outside linebacker in the Jets' scheme. But Bowles also said he thinks Coples could be a fit somewhere else, most likely as a 4-3 defensive end, his more natural position.
