That was a tough, gritty come-from-behind win that Carolina desperately needed in what amounted to a road environment in Kansas City. Down by five points with 3:28 left, the Tar Heels coaxed three straight turnovers in a classic Carolina comeback while closing the game on a 21-3 run. The 80-70 victory felt very much like a second-round NCAA Tournament game.
