Pearl-Cohn's Mason, Gupton sign with NC

Pearl-Cohn receivers Rashad Mason and Brian Gupton, each wearing blue, signed national letters of intent this morning with North Carolina. Mason (6-foot-6, 220 pounds) and Gupton (6-4, 190) helped Pearl-Cohn to the Class 3A semifinals last season. Mason is the state’s No. 2-rated prospect by Scout.com and No. 4-rated prospect by Rivals.com. Mason selected the Tar Heels over offers from Michigan, Ole Miss and Kentucky.
