Clemson's a big deal for North Carolina. But the Tar Heels already have conquered some tall mountains. That loss to South Carolina in the season opener could have nipped in the bud what became UNC's 11-1 season. Weeks later, down 21 points at Georgia Tech, UNC could have thrown in the towel. Instead, the Tar Heels kept the rag, wiped a little sweat with it, won the game.
