Why not an ACC champion North Carolina in the Playoff?

Maybe the Tar Heels' surge shouldn't come as a surprise — this is Fedora's fourth season with the program, after all. It was in year four at Southern Mississippi that the Golden Eagles turned the corner, going from a combined 22-17 during Fedora's first three seasons to 12 wins and a Conference USA championship. But for UNC, there was more at play than simply learning the system.
