As impressive as his numbers were on the final stat sheet, Marcus Paige’s most meaningful contribution was the effect his play had on those around him. Inspired by the return of their leader, the Tar Heels finally looked like the elite team they were purported to be while rolling to an 89-81 victory against their one-time ACC rival.
