Seventh Woods puts on show in season-opening win

Seventh Woods scored 25 points, many in spectacular fashion, to lead Hammond to a season-opening 71-60 win over conference foe Wilson Hall on Tuesday. The 6-2 UNC signee delighted the home crowd with four dunks and two buzzer-beaters — a 35-footer to end the first quarter and a 45-footer at the halftime buzzer — and figured big with 11 points during a 17-0 Skyhawks run.
