Whether it was because guard Marcus Paige was back and bringing with him a lot of energy or that the No. 9 Tar Heels were facing No. 2 Maryland or the shaming during video sessions, it finally clicked for UNC’s starting big men — Brice Johnson and Kennedy Meeks — in an 89–81 victory Tuesday. If Johnson needed motivation, Williams has done his best to provide that.
