FSU-UNC 1997: The last big Carolina football game
Posted Dec 3, 2015
North Carolina stands at the precipice of college football’s elite. The Tar Heels will play for the ACC championship Saturday night, against the No. 1 team in the country, with a berth in the College Football Playoff possibly at stake. It’s been a long time since UNC was in this position. The media called it "Judgment Day," or in the common tongue, Nov. 8, 1997.
