Tar Heels Football Adopts a Winning Pattern (It Has Diamonds)

The North Carolina football team won 11 of 12 regular-season games and made it to the ACC championship game this year, all while wearing uniforms that include the argyle pattern made famous by the UNC men’s basketball team. “I’m lucky in that the first year the football team has worn argyle, we’re killing them,” said fashion designer and UNC alumnus Alexander Julian.
