Nazair Jones latest UNC lineman from Roanoke Rapids

When decided to accept a scholarship to play football at North Carolina in 2012, he continued a legacy for the town of Roanoke Rapids. The sophomore defensive tackle is the latest in a string of linemen who have developed in the mill town of about 16,000 located along the Roanoke River near the northeast border of the state. Like Jones, the majority of those linemen have wound up in a Tar Heels uniform. (Fayetteville Observer)
