Tar Heels land Rashad Mason


Nashville, Tenn., wide receiver committed to North Carolina on Sunday evening, choosing the Tar Heels over Ole Miss, Tennessee, Clemson, Michigan and Kentucky. Mason, a 6-foot-5. 225-pounder ranked No. 97 on the Press-Register's Super Southeast 120, caught 26 passes for 610 yards and 13 touchdowns after missing his junior season because of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
