Karen Shelton Named South Region Coach Of The Year

UNC field hockey head coach Karen Shelton has been named the South Region Coach of the Year, as selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches of America. Shelton, who is in her 35th year as UNC’s head coach, led the 2015 Tar Heels to a 21-3 record, an ACC Championship and an NCAA runner-up finish. UNC made its seventh consecutive trip to the final four. (GoHeels.com)
