North Carolina’s football season will end almost exactly as it began – with the Tar Heels a 3-point underdog to a seemingly weaker team on a neutral field. At least on paper and at least for now, Baylor seems certain to enter the Dec. 29 Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando looking very similar to the South Carolina team that UNC faced in Charlotte on Sept. 3.
