Carolina shot 50 percent from the field (36 of 72). That is the fourth straight game and seventh time in 10 games this year UNC has shot 50 percent or better. Four different Tar Heels either set or tied their career highs in assists. Marcus Paige moved out of a tie with Dennis Wuycik for 29th place in UNC career scoring. Paige now has 1485 points. Wuycik had 1469. Donald Williams is 28th with 1492.
